Blue skies, light cloudy and some wind expected across the Canaries this Saturday
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a generally calm weather day for the Canary Islands today, Saturday, with intervals of cloud and only a slight chance of weak, scattered, and occasional showers in the easternmost islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with a slight rise possible in some eastern areas. Light north-westerly winds are expected overall, becoming stronger on exposed slopes, while Lanzarote and Fuerteventura may see westerly winds with locally strong intervals during the middle of the day.
At sea, conditions will feature variable winds of force 1 to 4, slight to moderate seas, and a north-westerly swell with waves of one to two metres.

LANZAROTE
Cloudy intervals with a low chance of weak, scattered showers. Temperatures stable or with a slight rise in the south. Westerly winds with locally strong intervals at midday.
General temperature range: Low of 16°C / High of 22°C.
FUERTEVENTURA
Cloudy intervals and a slight chance of occasional light showers. Temperatures steady or slightly higher, especially minimums in the west. Westerly winds with strong intervals around midday.
General temperature range: Low of 16°C / High of 22°C.
GRAN CANARIA
Cloudy intervals, becoming overcast in the east and clearer elsewhere by the afternoon. Temperatures stable, with slight increases in maximums on the northern slopes. Light westerly winds, stronger on northern and southern coasts.
General temperature range: Low of 17°C / High of 22°C.
TENERIFE
Cloudy intervals with mostly clear skies in the west. Temperatures steady; light frosts possible in high altitude areas. Light north-westerly winds, increasing on western coasts and the far northeast at midday. Breezes will dominate in the east. Stronger north-westerly winds are expected at high elevations.
General temperature range: Low of 16°C / High of 22°C.
