The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a warning for high temperatures today (Wednesday) in the Canary Islands, especially in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
Maximum temperatures of 32 degrees are forecast on these two islands although it is not ruled out that it will reach 30 degrees in the southeast and metropolitan area of Tenerife, with some high clouds over the western islands.
Aemet also warns that the islands will experience a moderate trade wind blowing from east to northeast in Tenerife and the western islands, and from the northeast in Gran Canaria and the eastern ones, with strong gusts on summits in varying directions.
As for the sea, strong wind from the east and northeast of force 4 to 6 will produce rough seas, while on the west, south and southwest coasts, it will be variable with force 1 to 3 with breezes, one metre swells and smaller waves.
