AEMET forecasts rain in the south of the Canary Islands this Monday
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) is forecasting rain in the Canary Islands today, Monday, particularly in the more mountainous islands where evolving cloud cover is expected particularly inland in the southern half of the islands.
Additionally, in the easternmost islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the sky is expected to become partly cloudy with the presence of high-level clouds for most of the day.
Temperature changes will be minimal, with a slight decrease expected. According to AEMET's forecast, temperatures will range from a minimum of 17°C to a maximum of 23°C.
As for the wind, it will be light from the northeast, moderate in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, and in the southeastern and northwestern extremes of Gran Canaria, with a prevailing sea breeze along the coasts.
