The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has updated its forecast for the Canary Islands, showing a mix of cloudy intervals and a likelihood of light rain in certain areas.
The north-facing slopes may see occasional, generally light showers, while cloud cover is expected to increase in interior regions and on southern and eastern slopes from midday.
These areas are more likely to experience light rain and scattered showers in the afternoon, which could locally intensify to moderate levels.
Temperatures across the islands will remain relatively stable. Highs are expected to reach 22°C in Tenerife, while lows will drop to around 12°C on the island of El Hierro.
Winds will be light and predominantly from the north, with a regime of breezes taking over as the day progresses.
