A ‘mini heatwave’ is coming to the Canary Islands this weekend

Winter officially starts on Tuesday (November 1^st), but temperatures remain unchanged in the Canary Islands and will be "unusually high" for the time of year over the next few days, according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

There will be a “mini heatwave” in the islands over the weekend, with highs expected to reach 30°C, especially on the east and south slopes of the islands, and there will still be a light haze across all of them, but temperatures will drop on Monday for a cooler Halloween.
