A general drop in temperatures is expected today (Wednesday) in Tenerife and Gran Canaria, but they will continue to be above average ​​for the time of year in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. There will still be some haze even after parts of Gran Canaria had electrical storms overnight.

According to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), it will be generally clear today with some occasional intervals of low clouds, mainly on northern slopes, and the haze will be more intense in the eastern islands, tending to subside during the afternoon.

The wind will be light to moderate from the west, getting stronger on the south coasts of the islands in the afternoon. In the high areas of Tenerife, there will be a strong southwest wind with some very strong gusts, decreasing and turning west this afternoon.
