The Canary Islands are set to enjoy largely sunny weather this Sunday, with some cloud lingering in the north of the more mountainous islands, according to the latest forecasts from AEMET.
Skies will be mostly clear across the archipelago, with wide sunny spells expected during the middle of the day. Temperatures will change very little, with a moderate north-easterly breeze.
At sea, conditions will be slightly rough in places, with a north-easterly swell and waves of 1 to 2 metres. Stronger winds are possible in western waters during the afternoon.

TENERIFE
Cloudy at times in the north and north-east, with clearer skies developing in the afternoon. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Daytime temperatures rising slightly inland and more noticeably in the mountains. Moderate north-easterly wind, occasionally strong in the south-east.
General temperature range: 16°C – 23°C.
GRAN CANARIA
Cloudy intervals in the north, clearing around midday. Elsewhere, mostly sunny, with some cloud inland later in the day. Daytime temperatures slightly higher, especially in upland areas. Moderate north-easterly wind, occasionally strong in the south-east and north-west.
General temperature range: 17°C – 22°C.
LANZAROTE
Mostly sunny, with some early morning cloud. Temperatures steady or with a slight rise in daytime highs. Moderate north-easterly wind.
General temperature range: 14°C – 21°C.
FUERTEVENTURA
Mainly sunny, apart from some morning cloud. Little change in temperatures, with a possible slight rise in highs. Moderate north-easterly wind.
General temperature range: 15°C – 20°C.
Overall, it will be a pleasant Sunday for outdoor plans, with sunshine for most areas and mild temperatures across the islands.
