A clear Friday before the weekend haze and higher temperatures

Today will generally be clear with some clouds across the archipelago today, being more overcast on the north coasts of the more mountainous islands, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

Temperatures will be in the low to mid-20s with a slight haze on the east coasts of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, with a northeast wind that will be more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes.

In the sea, on the northwest and southeast coasts, there will be a northeast wind of force 5 or 6 causing a strong swell. On the north and northeast coasts it will be lower at force 3 or 4, with waves of 1 to 2 metres. On the south coasts of the islands, the sea will be calmer as it is more sheltered by today’s winds.
