The win is classed in Spain as the ‘Mount Olympus’ of TV game show wins, and Pablo needed 260 attempts to close the final round of the contest and win the 1,828,000 euros jackpot.

In addition to being the first person to beat 'El Rosco' without any mistakes, Pablo set several other records on the way to his win, he is the contestant who has participated in the final round most times and also has the credential of the most ‘veteran’ contestant of 'Pasapalabra' anywhere in the world.

However, the Treasury will keep 43.5% of the profits: 19% immediately, 22.5% in the income statement for next year and 21% as withholdings applied by the Community of Madrid.

Pablo dedicated his win to his parents and his grandmother, who he rang live on TV after winning. His father is a prestigious concert performer and his mother, a children's piano teacher and music therapist, which led him to become a violinist since being five years old.

His passion for music led him to study the Baccalaureate of Arts in the speciality of Music, in addition to enrolling in the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid. Pablo has delighted viewers of the program by playing his violin on more than one occasion, since debuting on it on January 26th 2017 when he was just 19.

Since then he has guessed 5,761 words from 260 attempts on ‘the donut’ before finally being hailed as a champion. Pablo said, “with determination, you can reach the peak of television glory.”
