TF-1 resurfacing continues from Sunday night in Adeje with three junctions closed

Over the next few days, the resurfacing of the TF-1 motorway will continue on the northbound highway between kilometre points 77.7 and 80.7 in the municipality of Adeje, which are just before exit 81 for Playa Paraiso and Callao Salvaje, and just after exit 78 for La Caleta and Karting Las Americas.

The work will be carried out overnight from 10pm until 6am every night from tonight (Sunday) until Friday, and traffic will be diverted accordingly depending on which section they are working on.

Any affected areas and diversions will be marked so that all vehicles will be able to circulate on the road in a southern direction using one lane for each direction.

The junctions for Costa Adeje / La Caleta / Fañabé (78) and Adeje (79) on the northbound highway which will be closed during the works overnight, so those travelling in a northerly direction wishing to access any of the affected areas eg junctions 78 and 79, must continue to the San Eugenio junction (exit 75), where they can make a U-turn and return to their destination.

Likewise, vehicles wanting to join the TF-1 from junctions 79 and 81 in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife should go in the direction of Guía de Isora on the new motorway until junction 87 marked Playa San Juan, to make a U-turn and rejoin to the road in the direction of their destination.

The insular councillor of Roads, Enrique Arriaga, has highlighted the progress of the works, saying "the advantages in the comfort and safety of the drivers are undeniable and we can already see the benefit in the sections where the works have been completed".
