TF-1 motorway resurfacing between Costa Adeje and Playa Paraíso this week

TF-1 motorway resurfacing between Costa Adeje and Playa Paraíso this week

The resurfacing of the TF-1 motorway is moving further south as this week they will do the section of the south carriageway that goes from Costa Adeje to the Playa Paraíso junction, between kilometre points 76.8 and 81.1, starting tonight from 10pm.

To do this, traffic will be diverted from the south carriageway so that all vehicles will use one lane of the northern carriageway in the direction of Santa Cruz, whilst the works are being carried out.

During the night, from 10pm until 6am, various junctions will be closed over the next week until Friday, whilst the works are progressing as follows:

The works will be carried out from tomorrow, Sunday, October 3, until Friday, October 7. During those nights the following links will remain closed:
- Junction 78 towards Costa Adeje / La Caleta / Fañabé.
- Junction 79A at the entrance to Adeje.
- Junction 79B towards Las Nieves / Los Olivos.
- Junction 81 towards Los Menores / Armeñime / Playa Paraíso.

Vehicles heading in a south direction wanting to access La Caleta, Adeje or Los Menores / Armeñime / Playa Paraíso during these times of the night, must continue to junction 87 of the new part of the TF-1 to turn round at La Vera / Playa San Juan.

Likewise, vehicles wanting to exit and join the TF-1 at junctions 78, 79A, 79B and 81 towards Guía de Isora, should exit towards Santa Cruz and do a U-turn at junction 73 in Playa de las Américas.

These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that started in April and will last approximately 14 months until August next year. In total, 40 kilometres of the motorway between Adeje and Arico will be resurfaced.
