Agents of the Local Police of Arona, needed to request backup from the Canary Islands Police on Saturday to clear three entertainment venues in the San Telmo area of Los Cristianos, because they were in breach of Covid regulations for capacity, distancing, and masks.
It is not the first time in recent weeks that this situation has been experienced in the south of Tenerife, as last weekend five bars were fined in Torviscas when a ‘charity’ event was stopped for the same reasons.
In total, there were three premises in which the police had to carry out different actions between 7pm and 9pm resulting in ten sanctions for the bars themselves, and people in them.
