16 new courses to help job seekers in Adeje start in September

Adeje council’s Department of Economic Development and Employment, led by Councillor Raquel Rodríguez Alonso, is offering 16 new free online courses during the month of September for people living in the municipality that are looking for work. Registration is from August 25th to 31st and must be done online at www.adeje.es, with classes beginning on September 7th and running until September 26th.

Alonso said, “With these courses, we are keeping our commitment to offer continuous training with courses that have been taken up by the public and which are demonstrably helping them improve their CV’s and in their search for employment, including individuals still registered on the ERTE”.

Those who wish to register for a course must be on the Adeje padrón (resident register), be currently unemployed (with a DARDE number), and be listed with the Adeje job centre, however, anyone who is currently on ERTE is also eligible. You may only register for one course at a time to allow the maximum number of people to benefit, and all courses are online.

The courses, which are taught in Spanish, include German level A1, advanced accountancy, auxiliary carers for ICU, web design, e-commerce, commercial use of Windows excel, French level A2, food hygiene, professional English for commercial activities, Italian level A2, and marketing and communication event management.
