"If you are looking for one of the most exclusive houses in Spain in one of the most magical and beautiful places in the world, this home is for you." This is how the Idealista portal introduces the most expensive house for sale in the Canary Islands this year. For almost nine million euros you can manage to get a villa that is located on a 4,20m² plot on the front line of the cliff on the valley of La Orotava, with impressive views of the sea and La Palma.

Located in La Quinta, in Santa Úrsula, the house, according to the portal, is brand new and has been built with the best materials available on the market. It has three floors and a garage for three vehicles, a total of six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a luxurious swimming pool.

Earlier this week, Idealista revealed the most expensive street in the Canary Islands to buy a property, which is Calle La Alcojora by Costa Adeje Golf Club, in the south of Tenerife, where the average price of a property is almost three million euros.

However, these figures are eclipsed when compared to the most expensive and exclusive in the whole of Spain. According to Idealista a villa in La Zagaleta (Málaga) is for sale for 29 million euros, the most expensive property for sale in Spain and, in general, the most expensive houses in Spain are found in two areas: the Costa del Sol and the Balearic Islands.
