El Medano and Los Abrigos beaches are back open to the public
The City Council of Granadilla has declared the Leocadio Machado beach in El Médano, and Los Abrigos beach safe for swimming, and has reopened them to the public after receiving the latest test results for E-Coli.
They were closed on Friday, as a precautionary measure, due to the level of faecal bacteria in the water which measurements deemed as outside the contamination index for the public.
