A total of 16 flights were cancelled yesterday (Tuesday) at the airports of La Palma and El Hierro due to low visibility caused by the haze from the calima that is affecting the Canary Islands.
According to the latest data provided by Aena, twelve flights have been cancelled at La Palma Airport, both arrival and departure, and four at El Hierro airport.
For those planning to fly to, from, or in-between the Canary Islands in the next 24 hours, Aena recommends that they check with their airline about the status of their flight.
