In a scene reminiscent of a Hollywood movie, a high-speed chase involving a white van and multiple police cars took place in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in Gran Canaria. This latest pursuit has quickly gone viral on social media thanks to Social Drive.
As you can see in the video below, the dramatic chase shows the white van, driven by a resident of Telde, being closely pursued by several Local Police and Guardia Civil patrol cars. The footage reveals tense moments as the van weaves through traffic, endangering other drivers and pedestrians.
The pursuit began at the Cruce de Sardina junction and concluded in Sardina del Sur, where one of the police cars successfully overtook and intercepted the van. Following the interception, officers sprang into action and arrested the driver.
