VIDEO: Car bursts into flames in south Tenerife
A car caught fire and subsequently exploded at around midday today (Wednesday 31st December) in the San Blas area of Golf del Sur, Tenerife.
Emergency services were quickly alerted, and firefighters arrived quickly at the scene to extinguish the blaze before it could spread further. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
At the time of reporting, authorities have been unable to locate the vehicle’s owner, and enquiries are ongoing to establish both the circumstances of the incident and the owner’s whereabouts.
No injuries have been reported, and the area was secured while the fire was brought under control. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
