The Granadilla de Abona Council has reopened two beaches today, Monday, the central beach in El Médano and playa El Chinchorro, after they were closed over the weekend for safety reasons due to rainwater runoff.
The company that carries out the water analysis service twice a week on behalf of the council, have confirmed that the waters of these two beaches are once again fine for nothing and swimming, however, the one in La Tejita will remain closed for the time being.
It should be remembered that the closure was taken as a precautionary measure to guarantee adequate levels of security for the population.
