Two 20-year-old men are in critical condition after being involved in a serious road accident on Saturday afternoon in the south of Tenerife.
The collision occurred between a car and a motorbike on the TF-47 road in the municipality of Guía de Isora, according to the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The incident took place at approximately 5:35pm, which is when the 1-1-2 control room received an alert reporting the crash and requesting help as the motorcycle’s riders required urgent medical attention. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the location given.
Upon arrival, medical personnel assessed and treated the two injured men, both of whom sustained several serious injuries. Due to the severity of their condition, they were taken to two hospitals: the Hospital Universitario de Canarias and Hospital Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, for further treatment.
The Guardia Civil was also present at the scene, where officers managed traffic and compiled the official accident report as part of the ongoing investigation.
