Two injured in collision on the TF-1 motorway in the south of Tenerife

Two men were injured yesterday morning (Friday) in an accident on the southbound carriageway of the TF-1 motorway near the Guaza junction, in the south of Tenerife.

The incident occurred at around 6:30am and was reported to the Canary Islands Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).

Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene after the alert was received, and on arrival, paramedics assessed and treated both men, aged 42, at the scene.

One of the them was found to be suffering from seizures and neck pain (cervicalgia), while the other sustained moderate neck pain and a wrist injury.

Both were taken to nearby medical facilities by ambulance, one to Hospital del Sur and the other to Hospiten Sur, for further treatment.

The Guardia Civil attended the scene to manage traffic flow, as the collision caused significant delays in the area. Officers also took charge of compiling the accident report as part of their investigation into the incident.
