Two men have been injured today (Saturday) after their vehicle left the road and overturned on the TF-21 highway in the municipality of La Orotava in Teide National Park in Tenerife.
The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) Islands received an alert just before midday reporting that a vehicle was on its roof with two people still inside.
CECOES dispatched the necessary emergency resources to the scene of the accident and the SUC medical team, with the collaboration of the ERIE, assessed and assisted two injured men, a 17-year-old with neck, shoulder, and arm injuries, and a 52-year-old with mild superficial cuts and bruises.
Both were stabilised before being transferred to hospital for further treatment and the Guardia Civil coordinated the traffic and the clearing of the road with Highway Maintenance Services.
