Three people were injured in unrelated incidents that occurred between Saturday evening and the early hours of Sunday in various parts of Tenerife, according to reports from the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The first incident took place at 7:20pm on Saturday near the breakwater of Playa Las Americas beach in the south of Tenerife. A 42-year-old man suffered a fall and was unable to get out without assistance.
Firefighters were deployed to rescue the man and took him on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance. He was found to have suffered a leg injury and was taken to the Hospiten Sur Hospital for treatment.
Later that evening, at 10:00pm, the emergency services responded to another incident in San Eugenio, Costa Adeje, where a 37-year-old man was injured in a fall while riding an electric scooter along Avenida de Los Pueblos near the bus station. He injured his lower limbs and was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to the Hospital del Sur.
The third incident occurred shortly after 1:00am on Sunday morning in Calle El Andén, in Los Realejos. A man was moderately injured after his vehicle veered off the road.
He was transported to the HIC Hospital by ambulance for treatment, where his condition was described as moderate, barring complications.
