The ‘summer cinema’ is coming back to a beach in Tenerife after its popularity last year, and will be showing a different film every night from the 14th to the 19th of August for free!
The town of Los Realejos will be the focus of moviegoers once again with towels in hand so they can lie on the beach and enjoy six different films starting at 9.30pm each night.
The announcement was made by the mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González, alongside the Councillor for Youth, Josué Bacallado, and the area's municipal technician, César González, that El Socorro Beach would once again be catering to locals and visitors completely free of charge.
The film schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday August 14th: 'Warcraft'
Tuesday 15th: 'Jurassic World'
Wednesday 16th: 'The Williams Method'
Thursday 17th: 'Mom or Daddy'
Friday 18th: 'Ainbo, the Amazon Warrior'
Saturday 19th: 'Moonfall'.
Mayor González highlighted that this event has been demanded by the residents of the municipality, and has established itself as a unique combination of culture and entertainment, in an incomparable natural setting on their iconic beach. The screenings draw hundreds of people from all over the island, creating magical summer evenings.
