The spectacular Juan Sebastián de Elcano sailing ship is docking in the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife tomorrow, Friday, and if you want to, you can go on board and have a look around this legendary vessel.
The 133-metre-long training ship that will be 100 years old in 2027 will be in the Los Llanos Dock before embarking on a new training trip.
There are 241 sailors on board, of whom 74 are midshipmen from the Navy and 155 from the Marine Corps, who are in the third year of their studies.
The Juan Sebastián de Elcano is the third largest tall ship in the world and has covered more than two million nautical miles so far in its lifetime.
The ship may only be visited by the public between 11am and 2pm on Saturday morning, and between 4pm and 6pm in the afternoon, with no appointment necessary.
