Firefighters in Tenerife were called out in the early hours of this morning (Monday) to tackle a fire that broke out in Puerto de la Cruz.
Several local residents alerted the emergency services by calling 112, prompting CECOES to deploy the necessary resources, including the fire brigade and an SUC ambulance.
Fortunately, the fire was brought under control quickly, and only one person was affected, suffering mild smoke inhalation. No serious injuries were reported.
Emergency response teams praised the swift cooperation of the public, which helped prevent the incident from escalating.
