TUESDAY WEATHER: Cloud, haze and showers forecast across the Canary Islands
Cloud cover and the last of the calima will mix across the Canary Islands today (Tuesday), with generally light rain expected, although some areas could see heavier bursts, and slightly cooler temperatures of 23°C according to latest forecasts from AEMET.
Winds will be light to moderate from the north-west, turning northerly later in the day. In Tenerife, stronger gusts are possible early in the morning, particularly along the south-west coast and in higher north-eastern areas, where isolated strong gusts cannot be ruled out.
At sea, conditions will be moderate, with north-westerly winds (force 2 to 4), occasionally strengthening to force 5 or 6 in places. Expect slight to moderate seas, with rougher conditions offshore and a north-westerly swell of 1 to 2 metres.
Overall, it will be a mixed and slightly cooler day, with a blend of cloud, dust haze and scattered showers, so visitors and residents should be prepared for changeable conditions.

Partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of light, occasional showers before midday. Brighter conditions developing later. Possibility of light calima at higher levels. Temperatures falling slightly.

Cloudier in the north, with increasing cloud inland, in the east during the afternoon, and in the south later on. Occasional light to moderate showers, more likely towards evening. Slight calima possible. Temperatures dipping.

Tenerife
Cloudy intervals, especially in the north and south-east. Light to moderate showers possible early and late in the day. Chance of light calima. Stronger winds possible at dawn in exposed areas. Temperatures mostly steady, though cooler in the south-east.
