This year’s edition of TLP Tenerife, the Canary Islands' largest technology and entertainment event, has set a new attendance record by attracting more than 70,000 visitors to the Recinto Ferial exhibition centre in Santa Cruz.
Held from 15th to 20th July, the event featured over 200 activities and drew fans of video games, anime, comics, cosplay, K-Pop, arts and crafts, Japanese culture, and digital influencers.
It also hosted professional panels, talks, and networking events focused on the future of the tech and entertainment industries.
Backed by the Tenerife Cabildo through the island’s Science and Technology Park, TLP Tenerife 2025 has been hailed a huge success. Cabildo president, Rosa Dávila, called it “the leading tech event in the Canary Islands and one of the most important in Spain.” She also confirmed that the 20th anniversary edition will take place from 14th to 19th July 2026.
Innovation Councillor, Juan José Martínez, praised the organisation and warm public response, saying that the expectations for the next edition are now higher than ever. “The bar is set very high for the 20th edition, but with the hard work of the entire TLP team, I’m confident we’ll reach our goals.”
