Tenerife bus company, TITSA, are set to launch its summer schedules starting Saturday, June 22nd, which will be in effect until early September. This seasonal adjustment aims to cater to the changing passenger demands during the summer, particularly for coastal routes.
Several intercity lines will see an increase in trips and adjustments in frequencies:
- Lines 021 and 023: More trips between Tacoronte-Mesa de Mar and Tacoronte-El Pris.
- Line 050: Increased service from La Laguna to Bajamar and Punta Hidalgo.
- Line 014: Adjusted frequencies between Santa Cruz Tenerife and La Laguna Interchange.
- Line 012: Modified trips between La Laguna, Tacoronte, and El Sauzal.
- Line 52: Time adjustments for the route connecting La Laguna Interchange with Tegueste via El Socorro.
- Line 122: Additional weekend trips from Santa Cruz to Caletillas and Candelaria Interchange.
- Lines 138 and 139: Increased afternoon services for return trips from Radazul and Tabaiba beach areas.
- Line 546: Seasonal activation for service from Los Realejos to Socorro beach.
- Line 376: More trips from La Orotava Station to El Rincón.
- Line 369: Extended service hours from Buenavista to Teno starting July 1st, with trips from 9:00am to 7:45pm.
Titsa will also enhance its urban services in Santa Cruz for the summer:
- Line 948: Reactivated service between Benijo and Taganana on weekends and holidays.
- Line 946: Two additional trips in each direction on weekends and holidays from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to Taganana-Almaciga Interchange.
- Line 910: Increased frequency for Santa Cruz de Tenerife-San Andrés-Playa Las Teresitas Interchange to accommodate beachgoers.
- Lines 905, 934, and 936: Adjusted weekday frequencies to meet demand.
For La Laguna, specific urban services will see changes:
- Line 224: Modified schedules and routes to serve La Barranquera and Jover coastal areas.
- Line 217: Schedule adjustments for the route connecting La Laguna Interchange to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
Several routes will be temporarily discontinued over the summer:
- Routes 392, 410, 412, 419, 421, 463, 486, and the shuttles 606 and 608 will not operate until the new academic year begins in September. These routes primarily serve educational institutions and will resume with the start of the school term.
