The Tenerife Cabildo have confirmed that the resurfacing works of the TF-1 motorway in the south will continue at junctions between Los Cristianos and Chimiche this week. As always the work will be carried out overnight between 10pm and 6am from tonight (Sunday) until Friday morning, with the relevant diversions in place.
Specifically, the work to improve the surface of the main south highway, will be focused at junction 72 (Los Cristianos), junction 66 (Parque la Reina/Cho), junction 59 (Tenerife Sur Airport), and junctions 57 & 59 for Los Cordones.
During the night of tonight, Sunday July 24th, the works will focus on the links between Los Cardones and Tenerife Sur Airport, in the direction of Adeje, while on Monday (July 25) they will take place in the opposite direction, that is, in the direction of Santa Cruz.
On the nights of Tuesday (July 26) and Wednesday (July 27), resurfacing will be at the junctions for the south airport, Parque la Reina, and Los Cristianos, all heading south to Adeje, then on Thursday night they will do the same ones in the opposite direction.
All the relevant diversions will be in place directing you to the junction necessary to change direction and come off or join the motorway where you require, and are at night to cause the least amount of traffic problems as possible.
