Hollywood actor Henry Cavill, best known for his roles in Superman, Mission Impossible, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E., was spotted in Tenerife yesterday (Saturday), as he enjoyed a quiet lunch at the La Torre del Mirador restaurant, in Costa Adeje in the south of the Island.
Cavill and his partner visited the restaurant without a reservation and sat at one of the tables overlooking the sea, in what is, one of the best locations and views on the island.
At first, the British actor went unnoticed by the staff, but eventually people started to recognise that one of the most famous actors in the world was sitting in their restaurant, all be it without his cape!
Even after recognising him, they strove to maintain his privacy as the couple enjoyed a two-hour lunch, in which seafood was the star of the menu, trying to avoid any interruptions that could disturb their experience.
However, at the end of his meal, Cavill was more than happy to pose for photos as posted on Instagram by the restaurant with the message: “If Superman approves of our food, then you know it's really amazing! Thank you, Henry Cavill, for making our restaurant your ‘Culinary Kryptonite’”.
