The Canary Islands are set for a mainly bright and settled Saturday, with plenty of sunshine expected across much of the archipelago, although some cloud and the chance of light rain will linger in northern areas during the early morning and late evening.

According to Spain’s State Meteorological Agency, AEMET, temperatures will remain largely unchanged, offering pleasant conditions for both residents and tourists heading outdoors this weekend.

Moderate north-easterly winds will continue across the islands, with occasional stronger gusts possible in exposed coastal and inland areas, particularly during the early hours of the morning.

Sea conditions across the Canary Islands will also remain moderate, with north-easterly winds reaching force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6 offshore. Rough seas and a northerly swell of between one and two metres are also expected.
