British music legend Sting returns to the Canary Islands tonight (Friday) as his Sting 3.0 World Tour arrives in Palmetum of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. He is due to take to the stage at 9:00pm in the parking area next to the Palmetum, following his performance at the Gran Canaria Arena last night.
For this tour, Sting is performing as part of a stripped-back three-piece line-up, joined by long-time guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas.
The Spanish leg of the tour began earlier this week with a sold-out show in Barcelona during the Les Nits Occident festival. After Tenerife, the tour will continue to Cádiz, Málaga and Seville, with a stop in Portugal before heading on to France and the rest of Europe.
Fans attending tonight's concert can expect a setlist packed with some of Sting's best-known songs, including classics from his time with The Police, alongside many of the biggest hits from his hugely successful solo career.
The concert marks one of the biggest live music events taking place in Tenerife this summer and is expected to attract thousands of fans from across the Canary Islands as well as visiting tourists.
Tickets are still available from €64.90 and can be bought online from entradas.com by clicking this link: https://www.entradas.com/event/sting-3-0-palmetum-20870971/
