There have been extensive traffic jams and delays on the TF-1 motorway today, after a serious accident between a van and a motorbike left the van on its side on fire blocking one of the lanes.
The incident took place on the southbound lane of the TF-1 by Güímar at kilometre 24 earlier today (Saturday), and it is currently unknown how seriously anyone was hurt in the collision.
Emergency response teams, including the Fire Brigade, Local Police, and the Guardia Civil, were dispatched to the scene, and SUC Medical Personnel attended to the rider of the motorbike.
