The Charco del Viento natural pool is a stunning yet potentially hazardous spot due to its strong currents, unpredictable waves, and rugged volcanic terrain. powerful swells can create sudden surges, making swimming dangerous, especially for those unfamiliar with the area.

The uneven seabed, hidden rocks, and varying depths add to the risks, increasing the chances of accidents, particularly during high tide or rough sea conditions. Despite its appeal, caution is essential, and visitors are advised to check sea conditions, avoid swimming alone, and be mindful of weather changes to prevent being caught in dangerous waters.
