Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson has made his way to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as part of the filming for his new action movie The Beast.
Known for his roles in some of the most iconic movies, the actor is playing the President of the United States in this latest Renny Harlin-directed film.
Gran Canaria, increasingly recognised as a premier filming location, has welcomed many A-list stars over the years, including Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lopez, who famously enjoyed coffee and pastries with Ben Affleck at the historic Antico Caffé in Vegueta. Now, it’s Samuel L. Jackson's turn to soak up the island’s offerings.
During his stay, Jackson has already begun exploring the local culinary scene. He recently enjoyed dinner at Trattoria Pizzería Calabré, a restaurant on Calle General Vives renowned for its authentic Neapolitan-Calabrian recipes.
The movie The Beast is expected being filmed at Infecar studios in Las Palmas over the next weeks. While much of the shoot will take place indoors, Jackson's off-set activities have already sparked curiosity.
