Ritmania Fame Academy Dazzles on International Stage

In an amazing display of talent and dedication, the Ritmania Fame Academy Dance School from Los Cristianos has once again stolen the spotlight, leaving audiences awestruck at the All Dance Spain 2024 Qualifier Championship held in Tarragona, in mainland Spain, last weekend.

Nineteen young, dynamic dancers, aged between 10 and 17, took the stage by storm, presenting a staggering 23 dances spanning classical ballet, lyrical and modern jazz, contemporary dance, and tap dancing. Their performances resonated with such brilliance that they clinched the top three positions in every category they entered, sweeping away the competition with unparalleled finesse.

Under the visionary leadership of Ritmania's directors, Carla Guest and Emma Burgess, the academy soared to new heights, with Carla herself earning the esteemed title of Best Choreographer. Among the rising stars, 10-year-old Kodie Gray was crowned Best Child Dancer, while 15-year-old Isabella Scholes claimed the title of Best Young Dancer. Notably, the young Tap group got an honourable mention for their exceptional performance, marking their undeniable prowess on the international stage.

But this victory is just one in a series of triumphs for Ritmania. The previous weekend saw them shine at the Global Dance Open World Qualifier Championship in Gran Canaria, where they replicated their astounding success, clinching numerous gold, silver, and bronze medals.

Now, Ritmania's meteoric rise has propelled them into the global arena, as they prepare to represent The Canary Islands and Spain at the upcoming world finals in The Netherlands in July and Orlando at the end of November. However, with such prestigious opportunities on the horizon, the academy is seeking sponsorship support to ensure that their talented dancers can continue to showcase their artistry on the world stage.
