Police Hunt Attacker After Woman Sexually Assaulted in Broad Daylight
A 53-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on Sunday morning while walking near the Los Giles viewpoint in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
According to police sources speaking to CANARIAS7, the victim was approached by a man described as being around 30 years old, of slim build, and with a beard. The attacker managed to force the woman to the ground and sexually assault her.
The victim fought back, and the assailant fled the scene on foot. Despite extensive searches carried out by the Local Police in the surrounding area, the suspect has not yet been located.
An investigation is ongoing, and authorities are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
