Passengers aboard British Airways Flight 348 from London to Nice encountered a harrowing situation they will never forget last Wednesday. A 73-year-old woman, whom they believed to be asleep beside them, had actually passed away during the flight.
When the aircraft landed in Nice, passengers began to stand up to retrieve their carry-on luggage before disembarking, as reported by The Connexion, and that's when they began to realize that something sinister had happened.
Passengers seated next to the woman noticed that she was unresponsive, even after attempting to directly address her. They quickly summoned the flight attendants, who, in turn, contacted emergency services upon confirming that the woman was not breathing. The situation grew increasingly tense as they awaited assistance.
When paramedics arrived on the plane, unfortunately, they could do nothing to revive the woman and could only certify her death. It’s believed that she suffered a heart attack during the flight but an autopsy will confirm whether or not that is the case.
