A man has been seriously injured after falling onto a road while paragliding in Fasnia, Tenerife, according to reports from the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The incident took place yesterday (Saturday) on the TF-620 road, where a doctor, who happened to be in the area, was the first on the scene and to attend to the injured man, providing an initial assessment of his condition.
Shortly after, SUC medical personnel arrived at the scene to administer further care before transporting him by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, where was admitted with severely broken bones.
Local Police assisted emergency services at the scene, while the Guardia Civil managed traffic and handled the necessary incident report.
