Nordic Travel launches Adults-Only brand in Tenerife
The Scandinavian tourism group, Nordic Leisure Travel Group (NLTG), which owns tour operators Ving, Globetrotter, Spies and Tjäreborg, as well as Sunclass Airlines, has announced the launch of its latest hotel concept, LiveEz, a new adults-only hotel brand, and is targeting Tenerife as next in line for their expansion.
Unlike its long-established family-focused brand Sunwing, LiveEz has been created exclusively for adults. The concept centres on smaller boutique-style hotels, typically with around 100 rooms, offering locally inspired cuisine and distinctive design with a strong sense of identity.
The aim is to provide a more intimate, relaxed holiday experience tailored to Nordic travellers. The first property under the new brand — LiveEz Prive Side Suite & Spa in Turkey — has already opened, operated in partnership with Tanirlar Group.
Tenerife next on the list
Spain is now firmly on the group’s expansion radar. The second LiveEz hotel will be the LiveEz Coral California, located in Playa de las Américas.
The property is set to open for the upcoming winter season following a major refurbishment to bring it in line with the brand’s standards. For the Tenerife project, NLTG continues its strategic partnership with franchise operator Coral Hotels.
Further expansion planned
Maria Tullberg said the response to this type of product among Nordic customers has been very positive.
“We see strong potential to expand LiveEz across our key destinations, including the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and Southeast Asia, due to growing demand from our customer base,” she said.
The company has already begun scouting additional properties. According to NLTG, the team led by Goran Cosic is open to evaluating both existing hotels and new-build projects that match the brand’s philosophy of exclusivity and comfort.
For Tenerife’s tourism sector, the move signals continued confidence from the Nordic market, one of the island’s most important visitor markets.
