A motorcyclist was killed this afternoon (Saturday) in an accident on the TF-652 main road near Guargacho in the south of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The 1-1-2 emergency response centre received an alert at around 2:30pm informing them that a collision had taken place between a car and a motorcycle and that urgent help was needed.
CECOES dispatched the relevant emergency services to the location given, but paramedics could only confirm the motorcyclist's death due to the injuries he had sustained in the accident.
Firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium and personnel from Highway Maintenance Service were dispatched to the accident site to clear the road, while the Guardia Civil initiated the necessary legal proceedings.
