Motorcyclist killed in San Miguel in the south of Tenerife
A 28-year-old man was killed this morning (Saturday) in an accident between a motorcycle and a car on the TF-65 near in San Miguel de Abona, according to the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The incident occurred at around 11:30am, when emergency operators received reports of a crash involving the two vehicles. CECOES immediately deployed the necessary response teams to the scene.
Upon arrival, personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) found the motorcyclist in cardiorespiratory arrest. They performed advanced resuscitation manoeuvres, but were unable to revive him and his death was confirmed at the scene of the accident.
The Guardia Civil managed the traffic on the affected stretch of road, and are carrying out an investigation into the cause of the accident.
