A man was injured in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday) after being stabbed on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina, near the Veronicas area of Playa Las Americas in the south of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
They received a 112 alert at approximately 4:50am informing them of the incident and asking for urgent medical assistance for the victim.
In response, an SUC ambulance) was dispatched to the scene, along with officers from the National Police.
Upon arrival, paramedics treated the man, who had sustained several stab wounds described as ‘moderate’ in severity. After being stabilised, he was transported by ambulance to Hospiten Sur Hospital for further treatment.
The National Police has launched an investigation and is handling the necessary legal proceedings to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. So far, no further details about the identity of the victim or possible suspects have been released.
