The confrontation took place yesterday afternoon inside a residential property in the popular holiday resort, in the municipality of Yaiza.

According to initial reports, the two men became involved in a violent altercation during which knives were allegedly used.

One of the men, aged around 30, suffered serious stab wounds and was taken to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife, where he subsequently died despite efforts to save his life.
