Man arrested in Tenerife after defecating inside police car
A man was arrested in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Saturday after aggressively interfering with police officers who were dealing with his partner, and later defecating inside the patrol car, which had to be taken out of service.
The incident took place near a concert venue, where the man’s partner was reportedly causing a public disturbance. According to police sources, officers approached to calm the situation but were obstructed by the man, who became aggressive and prevented them from speaking with the woman.
As a result, he was arrested for allegedly resisting and seriously disobeying the authorities.
The situation escalated further once the man was placed inside the patrol car. Police say he continued to act violently and deliberately defecated in the vehicle’s cabin. Due to the unsanitary conditions, the car had to be taken out of service throughout Sunday and Monday while specialist cleaning and disinfection were carried out.
