The Canary Islands’ Department of Public Works, through the Directorate General of Road Infrastructure, has announced that from 7:00am tomorrow, Thursday, exit 64 of the southbound carriageway of the TF-1 motorway, in the direction of Adeje, will be closed.
The closure is part of ongoing work for the construction of a third lane on the TF-1, specifically in the San Isidro-Las Américas section, from the Oroteanda junction to the Las Chafiras junction, according to an official press release.
The work involves the installation of prefabricated frames for drainage at kilometre point 65+350. While the work is being done traffic will be diverted via exit 62A (San Miguel), until it concludes at 6:00pm on Friday.
The Directorate General of Road Infrastructure has urged drivers to exercise caution, adhere to road signage, and follow traffic regulations to prevent accidents.
