Los Cristianos access road will be closed for road works from Sunday

Road works are scheduled to start this Sunday (23^rd April) to improve the road surface of the TF-665 at the access from the TF-1 motorway to Los Cristianos in the south of Tenerife, meaning lane closures and traffic diversions while it is being done.

The works, which have a budget of 120,000 euros, will last three days and will be carried out at night, between 10:00pm and 6:00am, to minimize the impact on traffic during the day.

On Sunday night, the first day of resurfacing, the right-hand lane heading towards Los Cristianos will be closed from 10:00pm and a detour will be created along Calle Portazgo, the road that goes past Granada Park to the Arona Courts.

On Monday (24^th) and Tuesday (25^th) the left lane will be resurfaced. This will involve closing the road from Los Cristianos to the TF-1 junction and Chayofa on both nights between 10:00pm and 6:00am, so a diversion will be created through the Las Américas junction using the TF-655, the back road Los Cristianos to Guaza.

This improvement will repair a road that sees more than 45,000 vehicles pass through it every day, of which 2,000 are lorries and trucks, to increase the functionality of the road, as well as user comfort and safety.
