The Local Police of Arona are appealing for public assistance to help solve a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Friday, evening (7th March) on Avenida Boulevard Chajofe in Los Cristianos, in the south of Tenerife.
The incident took place between 7:30pm and 8:00pm involving a 14-year-old girl who was knocked off her electric scooter.
According to witnesses, the vehicle involved is described as a light blue or similarly coloured car, and after hitting the girl, the driver reportedly sped off down the street without stopping. The injured girl is currently hospitalised with serious injuries.
The Local Police have launched an investigation into the accident, prioritising the identification and location of the driver responsible. They are particularly interested in locating the car involved, which may still have visible damage from the incident.
