A 27-year-old man has died after being run over yesterday morning (Saturday) trying to cross the TF-1 motorway on foot in the south of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency Services.
The tragic incident occurred at 3:35am on the northbound carriageway close to the junction for Los Cristianos.
Paramedics could only confirm the man’s death when they arrived at the scene, due to the injuries he suffered in the accident, and treated the driver of the car for shock.
No further details of the victim’s identity have been released.
